Herron-Morton place is a locally protected historic district immediately south of Fall Creek Place. Herron-Morton was originally developed during the 1890s-1920s and was home to the Herron School of Art until its relocation to the IUPUI campus in 2005. The neighborhood is known for its' annual Talbott Street Art Fair. Today the neighborhood is seeing an influx of new investment. Herron-Morton is primarily single-family homes, but has some duplexes and condominiums as well. The boundaries of the neighborhood are East 16th Street on the south, East 22nd Street on the north, the alley west of North Pennsylvania on the west, and the alley east of Central Avenue on the east.
